First of all, just because a girl gave you her number does not, in any way, put you at an advantage. Sure, you have her number, but whoever said you were the only one who had it? What say we skip the formalities and head on to my place?” Your number will most likely end up deleted into virtual oblivion.
Second, girls don’t appreciate cliché text messages. “Great meeting you last night, we should go out” is a no-brainer and does not challenge her in any way. Creativity never hurts. Use different methods to catch a girl’s attention via text. When looking for how to text a girl, you might want to try ping texts, nickname texts, question texts or situational observation texts, among many others that even you could come up with. The ability to carry a conversation via text may be hard to come by, but it’s not impossible to learn. Instead of sending the usual messages that are in the trash portion of her cellphone, check out other ways that will catch her interest. Play little mind games with her. Argue with her (playfully).
Third, neediness is a turnoff. Most guys, out of seeming desperation (and probably inexperience), tend to throw all caution out the window and send a girl text messages that communicate low self-value. On the other, what does this guy even do all day? If he has free time all the time, there might be a chance he’s frightfully uninteresting.
